Of Pennies & Pounds……who we are & why the blog:
Well, we’re rather 2 silly girls who have day jobs working in the same company, and by night, are Penny & Pound, mystery writers of the WORLD’S BEST FASHION BLOG!
(Hey, this is our blog and we’re allowed to blow our trumpets….and after all, if we don’t, who will???)
Our day jobs are as far removed from fashion & style as can possibly be, but we’re sufficiently (and more!) interested in fashion to give a serious shot at this blog, and have enough faith in our fashion knowledge and our writing skills to know that we’ll do a fairly decent job!
So you may ask why the name ‘PennyWise;PoundFoolish’ ……….. well, have you ever splurged on something that you later discovered was available for much less somewhere else, and conversely, refrained from buying something that you later felt would have really been a great addition to your wardrobe and regret it wholeheartedly?? Yeah, that’s happened to us. Many times.
So we thought we’d share our knowledge (born out of a lot of experience!) and really focus on affordable fashion, the kind that helps you look stylish by putting your money in the right place. We’ll share our fashion fundas, our take on various trends, let you know things we totally love, and stuff we completely abhor! You’ll even find tips on where to shop and when the best sales are on!
And we value our privacy, hence the pen-names. However, for those of you who really want to know us a little better, Penny loves to paint, and Pound to dance. We’re ably supported by our dear husbands, who we’ll call Cent & Dollar here, and who are as gung-ho about this adventure as we are! And you’ll know more tidbits about us as you keep following our blog.
